How much does your web hosting cost?
HostingDNA has one hosting plan that fits all needs: The Mutation Plan. Starting at $99 per year, this plan allows you to add features, bandwidth, and disk space as you need them.

How do I get started?
To get started, you will need to set up a web hosting account on our servers. If you need a domain name, we will register one for you. If you own your own domain name and wish to point it to our servers, you need to change your dns servers to #1 ns1.hostingdna.com and #2 ns2.hostingdna.com.

What services don't you support?
We do not support the following services: Microsoft Servers, Cold Fusion, Streaming Audio or Video, JSP, Java Serverlets, Active Server Pages (ASP), Access Databases, Telnet or SSH access.

How does the 30 Day Money Back Guarantee work?
30 Day Money-back Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with our hosting service within the first 30 days, we will refund your hosting fees. This refund does not apply to any fees relating to your domain name, web sites, overage charges, or added-value services. HostingDNA will not refund unused or rebilled hosting charges after the 30 days from your initial sign up date.

Accounts cancelled/terminated by HostingDNA for violation of Terms of Use do not qualify for the 30-day money back guarantee. For example, if your account is cancelled due to spamming, you will not be given any refund.

Please allow 4-6 weeks for refund of payment.

Do you support Microsoft FrontPage Extensions?
Yes, we offer FrontPage extensions.

What version of Perl are you running?
We are running Perl 5.x

What version of PHP are you running?
We are running PHP 4.x.

What databases do you support?
We support MySQL 3.23.

What mail server software do you run?
We are running Exim.

What web server software do you run?
We are running Apache.

Do I get a static IP address with my hosting account?
Yes, but only when requested. We offer a shared secure certificate if you would prefer that instead of purchasing your own.

Do you offer Secure Certificates?
Yes we offer secure certificates upon request. Please email sales@hostingdna.com for more information.

How much do you charge to register a domain name?

How long does it take to process a new domain name or to transfer an existing domain name?
Domains take up to 72 hours to process and become activated for your website. If you're transferring a domain name from your old registrar, transfers can take up to 7 days.

Can I pay by check and on a monthly basis?
Payment is by credit card, debit card, or money orders only and is paid annually. Payment can be made on a monthly basis but annually is the preferred method.

What limits do you place on the material that you host?
We do not allow illegal material or adult content to be hosted on our servers. Any material found to be conflicting will immediately be terminated. We also forbid our servers to be used to send bulk email or SPAM email.

Can I use telnet or SSH access?
We do not offer telnet or SSH access for security reasons.

Do you support NT Servers?
We do not support NT Servers. This also means that we do not support Microsoft Access or Active Server Pages (ASP).
